due to upsurge in new folk, i'm gonna push this bers thingy again, sems alot of folk are worried they'll know no one and be bi loserish loners when they start college, so how bous we throw the beers on at the start o coll some everyon gets to know people and help the college life move more fluidly?

i'd offer to organise...but well

any volenteers?

The idea was put forward a week or so ago and there was some sure-fire interest but we've gotten some mad traffic of late with loads of newbies.

Anyway, I say 8PM in melekalikimaka's gaff...

well what would need to be organised ? , is it not just setting a venue and date , and telling people to go , and draging along people you know from the college ?

it depends, depending on the numbers there may be a need to book an area. also organising people to be there to meet and greet people from the start.

they are just a quick two i can think of.

anyone can go to this, it's the whole point of a beers, we get loads of people from all DIT's so we can all mingle.

Peh! Who wants to go Trinity like? I asked around and the impression I get is that the best place to go for social life is dit! One of my mates thinks im bringin her along to the beers cause she wont get to do college-y stuff! (Shes not going to college cause shes trained in hair and nails.)
