Do any non-Polish people shop in Polish shops?

Pighead

Pighead ran out of milk at a crucial time whilst getting together his bowl of Alpen yesterday evening. Threw a hissy fit and screamed a bit of abuse at the empty milk carton before putting on a jacket and heading to the local Spar.

En route to the Spar, Pighead passed a Polish shop and it was then the thought suddenly struck him "Why don't you get your milk in there?" For some inexplicable reason the brain replied "Keep on walking Pighead, fcuk knows what flavour their milk is. Stick with what you know son"

Obeyed the brain and walked the extra two minutes in the sodding rain and purchased a litre of Super Milk from the pretty girl behind the counter.

Later on Pighead started to wonder why his brain told him not to go into the Polish shop. Why would the milk taste funny? Their chicks are better looking than our chicks so why wouldn't there cows be?

Going to go in today and buy some Polish milk to sort the whole mess out once and for all. What other stuff have they got thats nice. Do they have pickled turnip and those long spicy sausages? Would you go shopping in a Polish shop? Will they let Pighead in? Does Alpen really keep you regular?

So many questions.

I don't think they import milk but no harm checking.Ive tried a few things,mostly bars and drinks.Been meaning to try something from the meat section for a while.

Better looking which suggests more tasty but it's all to do with the grass they're eating so; do Polish chicks eat grass?

I have some Polish friends so i have tryed different foods and stuff when with them and then the only place you can find them is in the polish shop.. so yea, i have shopped in quite a few polish shops on many occasion!!

The milk they have is UHT. It tastes fine.

The foriengers aren't allowed to leave. I'm not going back to tesco!

I am not polish and I head into Polish shops now and again. I suppose since I was in Poland last year I can appreciate the food a litte more. Watch out for the milk though, cause I was mistaken in poland and ended up with buttermilk in my coffee, was wrank!

I've been getting my hair (whats left of it) cut in the Polish barbers.

they do a good job, its dirt cheap (€5!) and the chicks cutting the hair are good looking. I am starting to hate the Russians though....

You drank Kiefer. Milk is Mleko.

Although they have chocolate sauce in tube that say Mleko too.

I shop in Polish shops. For two items.

The first is Tymbark Cherry/Apple juice. I love the stuff.

The second is them little chocolate covered ginger cakes. Apple and Strawberry flavour.

These are also available in Tesco, but not all the time. The Polish shops always have them though.

UHT milk, horrible stuff. The boyfriend brought it some from a Polish shop once and said he didn't realise it was UHT long-life milk.... despite the fact that he picked it up off a shelf beside the pickles.

Alpen in the evening , walking two minutes more that is actually necessary, Have you any other peculiar symptoms ?

I have never tried Polish milk but I have tried the German milk from Lidl and the english milk from Tesco's, tastes very like Irish milk.

i've wanted to go into one of the foreign food shops here for a while now.. but being that im a vegetarian and i dont understand their labelling due to language restrictions (my fault really:( )
i'm a bit afraid to chance it...

Also, the lads in work (russian , polish, latvian & lithuanian) have the most unpleasant smelling lunches in the world... But im sure its lovely...

Went into a Latvian shop to grab a bar and lucozade. Yer one behind the counter absolutely stared me out of it, until I offered to pay. Then she was nice.

Was over in Poland for 2 weeks before, now im hooked on their bread so I do frequent the local polish shop to restock. Have tried a few other items but only the bread sticks.

Not shopped in any Polish shops yet, but shop in that Chinese shop at the Jervis LUAS stop a fair few times.

Are you talking about the own brand stuff. Isn't that Northern Irish.
There is a huge difference in taste between fresh grass fed milk, and factory farmed dairy.
