This seems to be the new in-word with the youngsters these days.... they read something they don't like, they reply with FAIL or EPIC FAIL (for emphasis). This seems to have come up in the last month or two. I've seen it on other message boards too.

Who the hell started it? Its hard to read a thread on boards without some eejit writing the word FAIL somewhere. Its annoying the hell out of me.

Did it not come from Team Fortress 2? If you lose a round the lady says "You Failed!" in a harsh tone. People started saying stuff like "epic fail" in the server when they lost and it probably spilled out from there.
