Who's Fault is it??

I noticed alot of my underage friends look considerably older, when we go to bars it's me (the 18 year old) who gets asked for id.

So in the case that a 18 guy is in a bar where he expects other adults to be...he picks a girl up, sleeps with her, and later finds out she is only 14 or 15 etc...

Who's fault is it. Should guys not be able to pick up a girl without asking for a birth cert or should bouncers be more careful checking id's etc.....
Or should the girls have the sense not to sleep with older guys as they know it can get them into trouble.

In the scenario you describe, everyone.

The bloke - it's a one night stand. You pays your money, etc. etc... If he sleeps with a potentially underage girl, he has to take responsibility. There is no rule where by you MUST shag on a first night.

The girl - if you're gonna pretend to be adult, accept the adult consequences of your actions. You are NOT absolved of personal responsibility just becaue you're 14!!

The venue - as far as I know, letting minors (knowlingly or unknowingly) into an 18+ venue is a crime. If they're serious, check all the borderline cases.
