I have a number of old cheques for small amounts from dividends which I haven't cashed (long, boring story).
Typically each cheque would be for a relatively small amount i.e. less than €20.
Since they're older than 6 months I assumed they were no longer cashable but
this link suggests that, in the UK at least, cheques are valid for up to 6 years.
Does anyone know what the situation is in Ireland?
