Your very right in what you say,I've always gone to fortune tellers with somebody else,usually a few people,and theres always someone who feels like the fortune teller wasn't for them.

I've done the very same thing... go to a fortune teller with a group, they're all going 'oh that's fantastic' & you're thinking no it bloody wasn't:rolleyes:

I think a lot of it can be down to the fact that some people think they have to believe it as they've paid for it instead of telling the reader they are wrong;)

Isn't it soul destroying when you've been given a piece of information you really didnt want to hear and are trying to convince yourself that the fortune teller wasn't really any good......but all your friends keeps saying 'I cant believe how accurate she was!' :eek:

Then there are the people who keep exaggerating what they've been told....a friend of mine thought that this fortune teller had hinted at a certain guy she fancied...by the time we got home,she was telling everyone she was going to marry him!

doesnt mean the FT in question was right regarding you though...

from my experience people over exaggerate their readings all the time and the only true opinion you should listen to is your own....not every FT will connect successfully with you...for eg i swear by Billy Martin but i have friends who say nowt happened at all for them...

Celtic you are so right. The connection with you and the psycic/medium has to be there.

People get medium and psychics mixed up all the time. A medium connects with the spirit world and gives messages from spirit ( be it loved ones who have passed or guides) where a psychic uses their intuition or psychic ability to read a person, normally through the use of cards etc.

A medium does not tell fortunes, they purly bring messages from spirit.

I've only joined today, so really new to this!
I was wondering if anybody would have the number for Sean in Clonee - i've seen him once and lost his number?
He was really good - told me the minute I walked in the door that I needed to go and see an osteopath about my back - cause my hips were out of line and this is what was causing the pain...I acutally had my first appointment set up for that week and she did confirm that my hips were out - am fixed and happy now!
I've also been to E.P. Christian a few times - he's very specific with time lines and Joe Gough out the ashbourne road, i thought was great the 1st and 2nd time but the 3rd i wasn't impressed at all - he seemed to spend most of the time "fishing" and was not specific at all - personally i felt like he was slightly bored and couldn't wait to get rid of me!!

I will soldier on! If anyone has the number for Sean tho, i would greatly appreciate it.

Just wondering whether anyone has had a reading with Aingeal Rose. She's from the US (I think!!) and is doing readings in Crystal Wings certain days at the moment. I went to see Eddie yesterday during my lunch hour. I wouldn't be one for believing everything that people say and i'm a good judge of character but i'd give him top marks. He was very accurate with my past and focused on one particular thing that was worrying me. I didn't give any information away so i was in awe when he pinpointed specific things in my life. I got a very good vibe from him and will defo be returning. I do believe that there are some people who claim to be fortune tellers but Eddie is defo the real thing! Has anyone else experienced this?

I went to Eddie Christian last January and I was with him for 45 minutes. Came out pretty numb to say the least. He didnt say much about the past but did spend most of the time talking about my current g/friend. He had her down to a tee even her love of bondage...!!! and ex boyfriend.

Thing is I love her very much and plan on moving to England to be with her (she is English) and we have discussed marriage, babies everything...and have been looking for job over there...but..

Eddid dismissed her and said it was just a phase and it will be over by September/October. I am destined to be with someone else who I will meet next summer and get married to after 3 years. I will meet her our socialising, she is 3 yrs younger and from my locality (Cork).

I could go on and on about it..he also said that the g/friend is too scarred from previous relationships (she is I know) and is basically a lost cause and forget about her.

Now that was January and I am still with her (even flying over tonight), we have planned holidays in September, she is planning outfits for my sisters wedding in October and my 30th in November..hell I even know what I'll be doing for New Years Eve with her...

One word: Choice. You decide what happens in your future, not Eddie Christian or anyone else, regardless of how good they are. Sometimes readers will attempt to point out flaws in our lives, or guide us in areas where they see trouble ahead. But this does not mean their word is gospel, and that what they predict is the only way things can work out. Being told things about your gf may be helpful to you in deciding what to do in the future, but whether you two stay together is between you both alone.

ive had a similer freaky reading with him.....and because he was so right with past & present you convince yourself that he must be right on the future but its you and you alone who decides your future not him or anyone else...

it opened a can of worms for me and i let it get to me, i had to get a second opinion and the other reader i seen completely blew the part of Eddies prediction that wrecked my head out of the water and said the opposite....and his predictions have all happened so i give him the benefit of the doubt....ive learned a lesson

oh and i did go back to Eddie and he said the opposite then too:eek: and since ive have returned again and once again it returned to his original prediction....i think ive compromised my readings with him as he starts to remember you...all told i wont be back to him and ive put the episode with him down to experience...hes also had a rocky love life and i feel he lets his own experiences compromise his readings....but thats just my opinion

Hi everyone, great forum! I too have been to see Billy in Mullingar. Again he gave short term predictions which turned out to be extremely accurate as he did with my friends. Most predictions were based over a 3 year period. I was quite overwhelmed and most of us ended up coming away quite emotional!!

Hey there,

I have been to Eddie also and he was very accurate with past and present but a year on his future was complete and utter sh*te to say the least...he told me my love life was so so bad but yet I met someone amazing a month after I went to see him, which he did not predict.

So, please, dont worry about it at all...you do have free will and can live the life you wish with your fabulous girlfriend. I feel if ppl put too much negative thought into something it will actually happen and you will split...just believe, as you do now , that you are meant to be and you will be.

Hi Tauren29!

Eddie is based on South William St. He doesn't take appointments so it's just a matter of going in and joining the queue! He works a half day on Saturdays but not sure what his opening times are on the other days. I have read that others have had long waits to see him, but on both occasions I was with him I got in pretty quickly with only about 20 minutes of a wait. He's a nice guy, and though he's had some very good reviews, he's also had some pretty bad ones too! He definitely described my current situation to a tee when I was there but not so sure about his future predictions - he didn't completely contradict himself on the second visit but his timings were off. Worth a visit anyway I suppose!

Hi there Jaseden!

I went to see the woman in the George's St Arcade a few months back. She's really nice but unfortunately nothing she predicted came true

! In saying that though, some of what she said was only meant to happen further down the line. She was quite good on describing one side of my life and predicted big changes within 6 weeks - that was back in April and nothing has changed since! Maybe her timing was just off though! Have read somewhere or other that she was good for some so maybe it was just me! Have you seen her yet?
