What's the weirdest annual (or any regualised interval) event/festival you've ever heard of or particiapted in?

There's also one in Bavaria where you start off at the bottom of a mountain on a bike, have to visit breweries on the way up and drink a certain amount of beer(which goes up in volume the higher you go). At the top one you provide evidence you have drunk the required amount you get a cert. Sounds class, but I know I'd die.
