Do I look famous? Or poor?

I went to a club last night. Total poser place. I felt a bit under dressed, but I'm past caring about these things. I was with a big group, and you had to pay to get in. So everyone was paying at the cashier, and I went up to pay my money.

The girl at the desk said "oh, YOU don't have to pay".

So, I didn't. All my friends were looking at this in amazement. I was loving it, thinking she must have thought I was, like, Justin Timberlake. But the others thought I just looked like i couldn't really afford the entry fee.

Does anyone here work in the nightclub game? Can you enlighten me? Am I most likely to have been mistaken for a poor person or a famous person.

Club was dreadful, btw.

I used to be a barman. I doubt she thought you worked there, as it's generally frowned upon to have staff drinking there as a customer.

No way! It was rubbish. I'm not goin back there anytime soon. I like quite cheesy clubs. I can't stand places where the music is like listening to background lounge tunes, but up loud.

A lot of the places i went when I was there did this, suppose it was to be able to 'find' the rowdy oirish fcukers that fell out with the bar staff when they wouldnt serve any more drink to them!
