As for the slicing, slow everything down. Keep the noggin down. If that still doesn't work, play one of the shorter holes a few times ( i think the 5th is a small enough) to get the confidence going. The Dublin matchplay is a good competition which anybody can win due to the nature of the earlier rounds! All matches up to the final are played over 18 holes. Usually the Inter section is quite competitive. I believe we've a former winner in our ranks here Wiger. As for a new website, such an endevour would take a bit of organising, so maybe something might crop up over the winter.

If you keep these in mind then you should be fine. Dublin matchplay is normally held over the week evenings at about 6:30. All matches are over 18 holes up until the final which is 36 holes.
