No sign of news from US sites, but mmo champ reckons that the patch is uploaded on gamespot.

You can do it as many times a day as you want. You only get the gold the first time you hand it in though

It kind of piss's me off that i spent 3200 arena points on S2 crossbow when S3 came out. It took like 3months to get 3200 points

Maybe i should try and get my Raiting up a bit more. At the moment im 1600 in 2 v 2 which does net me 350points a week best i have done so far. I just dont pvp much i guess.

Your best bet is to jump into a 5v5 or even 3v3 team.
At a similar rating the points difference is pretty vast.
At 1600 rating, a 2v2 team nets you 354 points while a 5v5 team nets you 465.

You dont have to be particularly good for it to be worth your while and you can still continue to play your 2v2 team for fun/practice or hell, if you get a high enough rating in your 2v2 team and get more than your 5v5 team, then its an another bonus

the gear thats out now is the season 3 gear. in about a month or so the season 4 gear will be available, which is slightly better.

if you just hit 70 then go buy one of the season 3 pieces now imo.

get the piece thats equal to the biggest upgrade to ur current armor, which is probably a mix of green and blues?

im the same i only recently stated to do PVP and im still pretty lost on how it all works, i read AV guide and that certainly helped a little. are there any good resources that people can recommend how what to do with PVP in general i.e info on all the battlegrounds 2v2 3v3 stuff etc, how to get more points and also what the hell you can do with the points!

Idiots guide to PVP would be nice

For people who have recently reached level 70, with honour points to spend or not, I would recommend picking up the Arena 0.5 set that was just added to the game. Its a blue set, but its got a hefty chunk of resilience on it with a decent 4 piece bonus and the same +35 resilience 2 piece bonus as is on the gladiator gear.

Dont get me wrong, its pretty dire but the cost is Honoured with a few factions and ~100gold. Then with whatever honour you have available, buy the trinket(s) first or save it all to start buying the S2 gear once its changed over at Season 4. It shouldnt be any longer than 2-3 weeks so trust me... you'll thank me in 4 weeks time

The new Arena 0.5 set is actually great if you've just hit 70 and want to do some PvP.

You can one piece from various rep reward vendors - thrallmar/keepers of time/lower city etc. All you need is honoured rep and the total cost is something like 120g.

Important points are in bold...

Compared to Season 1 its pretty crap, but compared to PvE gear especially what you would have when you hit level 70 first, its definitely worth getting

Perhaps I should have clarified that a bit more.

well, thats my mage sorted for a full pvp set without the pain of grinding av for season1

at least i wont be as squished in arena should i decide to play some :O

Got quite a few of the blue healing parts for my priest (normally shadow, disc for PvP) - set looks pretty good on a draenei, stats aren't great but I had about 20 resilience before so it was needed really. Ran MrT with my paladin last night, swore a lot at the number of casters, /mock'ed Kael at the end.

Daily-wise, the mana-burning mobs on the island make me want to respec. It's not fun trying to burn down a mana burning mob as a prot paladin.

Female human weapon size is bugged and makes my Gladiator's Gavel look like a large dildo.

They appear to have changed the sound of Power Word: Shield, it sounds very much like Avenger's Shield hitting something - so every time I cast it I'm thinking "where's the paladin?"...
