I think its important to know that people are actually getting their freebies. Obviously post after post isn't need for the same item received by different people but i'd rather alot of feedback then none.
I also realise by making this this post im going off topic and annoying people who thought there would be more freebies up. Ah well :rolleyes:

Wait... which sort of messages are being considered spam?

I do think two or three 'I got it' messages are enough, it marks when the freebie arrived and it's why I usually don't bother post if someone else has. But I say live and let live, unless we have a another thread for freebies recieved, (which I think would be good) I can't see another solution and the complaints are becoming part of the problem.

While I'm here: I got my rugby pack last week, the cans didn't last long

My suggestion: have a thread for "freebies" - set it to sticky.
Have another thread for discussion of freebies - set it to sticky too.

Or have a freebie "sub-forum" which contains threads on discussion and available freebies. 1 thread per freebie which also includes any discussion of it.
