And like rmcam said, try to socialise as much as possible with the guys from work. It will pay off not just while you are working there but in the future if you want a reference or a FT job. Another piece of advice is to just scribble down a quick list of what you did every week. It saves having to make up a load of stuff for your logbook (i presume you're are in engineering/physics) and gets your co-op report out of the way a lot quicker when it comes time to do it.
