Allrighty, we all have our terrible claim to fames. We walked past some C-list celebrity or our dog bit some actor on the chin. Who here can come up with the most piss-poor claim to fame?

I'll start the ball rolling, I went out with a girl who went to a house party at Emma Watson's and Emma Watson's little brother tried to get her into bed. The cheeky little scamp

Also, I saw the guy who plays Bob in Fair City in a hotel in Dublin.

One day I was in the Dundrum centre and Istood on the escalator beside Amy Huberman (Brian O' Driscoll's bird from The Clinic). She's a ride. Later on that morning I went to the Bewley's on the bottom floor there and Rene AND Bob from Fair City were there. A Galaxy of stars.

Was on a flight with Roy Keane. As we boarded the plane he fell up the stairs, twice. Instead of just laughing he tried to act all cool :cool: and pretend it didn't happen. Needless to say we laughed even more.

I also seen Leo from Fair City singing in the Harcourt Hotel - legend...

In defense of Roy, my brother asked him for an autograph in the boarding hall of Manchester airport. He gave it to him, then an entire girl's schol tour group noticed him writing it for him and he had to sign for every one of them too. Poor Roy was very nice about it though

Brendan Gleeson came into the cinema I work in with his son. Went into to see United 93. I was working on ticket collection and ripped his ticket, then when his film had finished he bought ice-cream from me (really nice man), had he gone down the bar after that I would've served him there too.

Uhm, Lucia Evans also came in. But I had no idea who she was and when my workmate told me who she was I just laughed. Tony London from Liberty X was supposedly there too at some point. As well as Shane Lynch (maybe it was him or one of them other ones)

I met Matt Lauer when he was in Galway (I was also seen on tv standing behind him in multiple shots too.. ha ha). Chatted to Louis Walshe too, but didn't like him too much. He had shifty eyes (dun da dun dun)

I was working on the sixth storey of a building in Montreal at the same time as Hillary Duff was on the first floor doing an interview for a local music TV station that encompassed the first 2 floors. It was hell trying to get into the building.....tweenagers everywhere.

A friend of mine is friends with Francis Boylan (he of "The Den" fame and currently of Ocean FM). My wife works in the same building as him at the moment.

Or "teacher" was the brother of the actor who played Doyle in "The Professionals".

What's so particularly lame about this one is that in his first class, after introducing himself he asked the question "do I remind you of anyone?" ...and he only very, very vaguely looked like his brother anyway ... sad really

Many years ago I was in a cafe in London when a friend of my cousin asked would I keep an eye on her kid for a couple of minutes while she and my cousin went to a shop. As we were sitting there, a girl who knew the kid (and his mother) came over to say hello to him and told me I was very good with kids. It was Louise Redknapp (I think she was Nurding back then).

During the run up to the last election I nearly ran over Mary Harney. She was canvassing and she stopped outside my driveway to talk to somebody. I wasn't really looking as I backed my car out and she had to jump out of the way.

Mine are really crap haha:-

I was brought into Stephen Gatelys (from Boyzone) house by his mother when I was about 14 for a cup of tea, we (friends and I) had just knocked on the door (down Seville Place in Dublin) hoping to see Gr. Gately himself! She made his little bother walk us back to the station coz she thought we'd get mugged!

My cousins husband owns/runs hotel in Germany. Tom Cruise & Family stayed there for three months recently when they were shooting some film (a film where Cruise had to march, apparently, as he was practicing the march in recption of hotel alot!) Him & his wife and baby were supposedly really nice to deal with. She was apparently, "really beautiful and tall" but my cousin said she was so scared she'd fall because of the extremely high heels she was always teetering on whilst holding the baby. Very glam. The hotel had to lay new carpets, curtains & furniture before Cruises arrival (at their request) and I think it was worth abotu 3m to the hotel. The wife (forget her name?) wasn't allowed to go anywhere alone.

I'm told I'm a far out relative of Mrs. Doyle (Pauline McGlynn - from father ted) Ah go on.....go on....etc

Had a session with some "celebrities" who were over here for a charity football match thing - they included mainly soap stars from the UK, can't remember all but mostly cornation street (ashley, tyrone....) and The Royles?, and some hospital program, some sexy asian/spaish/itlian? guy tried to hit on me, from that prog, forget his name though....

Had a few sessions with some DJs who are kinda famous in their field, but most of ye wouldn't have heard of...

Got Eric Cantonas Autograph...

OH and had a drink in that Kerry footballers pub years ago - forget his name, he is always on the panel on RTE GAA programs.

I met Daniel O'Donnell outside Croke Park before the Donegal-Dublin All Ireland Final in 1992, I was 8 at the time and well impressed.
I also met Denis Irwin on a bus at Manchester Airport, met Colm O'Rourke during half time in some match in Croke Park, met Lisbon Lions Tommy Gemmill and Billy McNeill in Dublin last year, and I did a debating course with Rose Dugdale (she was an wealthy English titled aristocrat who joined the Provisional IRA and took part in the raid of Russborough House and the first helicopter bombing in British history) a few years ago.
