What happened to the Post Office on Grand Parade?

15 Grand Parade used to be home to "Kellys Post Office" (a normal post office), I always wondered how it stayed open because it wasn't that far away from the actual GPO, well today I noticed that its closed.

When did it happen?
Did another closure happen on Washington Street a few years ago?
Are post offices the new pubs? (ie buildings that are closing to make way for apartments and off-licences)

It briefly became a ticket sales office for, IIRC, the Opera House. That was about 3 years ago though. It hasn't been Kelly's for ages. Do you remember the PYE hifi sign above the door?
