Can anyone help with procedure for unlocking a modern Nokia, in this instance the Nokia 6120 Classic?

Let me start by saying I have the unlock code and have been intimately familiar with the procedure in the past.

I find now that booting the phone without a SIM brings me to offline mode and that the request for unlock code is no longer requested. Likewise, booting the phone with an off-network SIM does not bring up the unlock code request as hitherto.

I attempted to input the code anyway in both of the scenarios that I have described but this did not work. However, I did not feel that I was in the correct "area" for inputting the code. Of course, it could be that the code supplied is in fact, wrong.

Any ideas?

First of all you do know this is a BB5 handset, and you need the code from the network it is locked too? If you know this maybe wrong codes have been entered too many times.

Does it have a pop-port?, if so I'm sure you can check how many codes have been tried on it with the Dejan BB5 unlocking program.

i've enterted codes on bb5's and i just entered them on the main screen with the normal sim in it. any time i started a bb5 with the wrong sim it just said sim not valid and then of course there's offline mode. just start the phone as normal and type it in

if you entered the wrong code it wuold say code error so that's not what's happening here

Hi guys, i have 2 samsung phones that are on the meteor network and i want to give them to my kids rather than leave them sitting in a desk drawer forever, the kids existing phones are not camera phones so they want them badly, however they are o2 customers, are there codes for samsung phones like these 2,
