Small world ain't it, and I'll fill you in on the bus shelter thing sometime now, lol... Needless to say we were all playing on it, and we convinced you that you'd fallen (in truth it was an accident) but being kids everyone was terrified of getting into trouble!. Fook, this has really blown me away!. I'll be in touch via a PM & Email soon. In the mean time please pass on my regards to your family. In it were old pictures of me and my old friends from the estate I grew up on. I found it upsetting to look at them. David Murphy and Sean Breenan were my best friends from the estate. David moved away when I was about 16. He still went to the same school but he stopped talking to us. Met him twice since then in the pub but its like we never knew each other which is ****ed up considering how close we used to be. I moved away when I was 18 and lost contact with Sean, but I wasnt really hanging around with him much by then anyway. Met him in the pub a few times too but I dont know what to say to him. I guess we were just friends of convenience because we lived so close, but id love to know them now like I used to. I think about them often. I had a few friends from secondary school Ive lost contact with, Eoin Keenan and Dermot Grace. Id love to see either of them again and often think of what became of those two carry-ons.

I know that one of the lads was and probably still is a heroin dealer and addict and has done time in prison for burglary and smugging drugs from the UK, while I know that one of the lads is training to be a solicitor and 2 girls have gone onto be doctors. How easy it is to take the wrong roads in life! There was one girl though who I was smitten over, Pamela Sarsfield. I was an outgoing child in the day but remember shítting myself giving her the invitation! She moved down the country shortly afterwards and never heard from her again and often wonder where abouts in the world she is today?
Bluebluesky wrote: » Just came accross this thread and my goodness! Well I can tell you that Pamela Sarsfield moved to a place in Co. Louth called Termonfeckin in about 1985. She has lived there ever since and the last I heard is that she got married last year and still lives in the village!
flanzer wrote: » Still in shock I am! Found some info on her here!http://www.drogheda-independent.ie/local-notes/around-the-villages-1207871.html Married in September 2007. I remember I got invited to her birthday party in the Old Shieling in Raheny and thought all my birthdays had come at once! Put on my best clobber, gelled back my hair and got my groove on! Still couldn't woo her! I suppose as a 6 year old, I still had a lot to learn!
