Irish words for Drunk:
Diamondmaker
Thought this would be interesting while I was abroad. Explaining that I could rattleof 50 words for drunk used in Ireland without pause.
Must be a unique to us here.
So I thought Id like to see everyone elses words for drunk and get the
" Boards Definitve guide to being drunk in Ireland"
Start with the basics
1. Ar mesice
2. Langers
3. Pissed
Now Id like to see a few more colouful and regional ones......Maybe an explantion for any obscure local oddities or personal faves.
Cheers

From Liverpool - Bevvied (derived from Bevington Brewery)
Does it not come from bevvy i.e. a beverage?
I was expecting Irish words for drunk, and there's only one real one (ar meisce) unless you count "as mo meabhar leis an deoch"
Has sauced/on the sauce been used yet?
"Off my tits" is a good one, especially when said by a fat man.

Works best when delivered in a broad Carlow accent:
"in a holy loo-ball"
