best thing would be to phone O2 and ask for the unlock code.
O2 are usually pretty good at giving them out.
Failing that a google for "unlock k800i" should yield results - try gsmliberty.net

Then the fun starts

Calls, etc., will work fairly easy. But you'll need to get all the 3 connection settings. Should be able to get off another 3 phone.

At that point you can get to planet3, etc. But aparrently you may run into problems downloading content - see http://www.3g.co.uk/3GForum/showthread.php?t=52725

On the bright side - if you buy (and get running) the BB it works pretty well.

get the person who it belongs to (ie the person on meteor) or anyone that is on meteor and ring them.

you'd be surprised, you could ring them now and they'd give you the code no problem over the phone...

I got a working code today for my nokia n70 from www.gsmserveur.com which was locked to the 3 network in engand. They have codes for about 6 or 7 networks. BB5 phones are the N series, E series, 6630, 6680 etc smartphones
