Because the search engine is not working properly I cant search this thread, which is very loooooooooong. So can anyone tell me if there is an unlock calc for the Sony ericsson T610 + T630 please. BreadBoard I know you check this thread, will you send me that link again for that calc or is it a different one for the Sony's?, would really appreciate it

The T610/630 cannot be done by code calc. It needs to be unlocked by cable

Unlocking it will only allow other sims to be used, sounds like you have an operator branded version that restricts mp3s being used as ring tones, what you need to do is have it reflashed with generic firmware.

Only the network can provide you with a code, but it can be easily unlocked via cable and software by an unlocking shop.

You need to post the IMEI number and the network each phone is locked to.

Get the 15-digit IMEI by typing *#06# into the phone.

To get a 'p' press * 3 times, to get a '+' press the * key 2 times, to get a 'w' press the * key 4 times.

I couldn't sleep knowing the codes were there. The Nokia 1600 opened up first try, great stuff! No luck with the Nokia 6310i, I tried both codes but no luck, any suggestions?

Double check the phone model / IMEI / network it's locked too? If not maybe skearon can generate another code for you, or double check his code.

DO NOT continue to try non-working codes. Your phone will become hardlocked and you'll need to do it via cable.

I checked all those details as suggested, all correct. I won't enter the code again in case I hard lock it. I have entered the 1st code twice and the 2nd code once already. It is definitely a 6310i locked to vodafone and the IMEI number is 350984/20/722535/1. Thanks again for the help

they said it will take 5 working days for them to get it.
why is this?? i was under the impression they just did it then and there in the shop.
