Nice phone, but was happy with the 6234 nokia i had. I am now giving the nokia to my wife who is on 02. Can I get the nokia to take her o2 card?

You can only get the unlock code from Vodafone.

thanks for your help and the quick reply. I am uncertain as to how I am suppose to enter the code into the phone, do I need to start off by putting in a vodaphone simm first. I also dont know how to bring up the 'p' 'w' characters on the phone... please help.

I have managed to work out the pw keys but received a code error for the first one twice now. If I try it again and get it wrong will it do anything bad as the phones already locked?? also for the first code #pw+114 404 535 266 715+1#
there is spaces in between the some of the numbers, do I need to have spaces when I am entering the code in and if so how do I get the spaces to come up on the nokia 1600 phone. Thanks for your help.

You've now hard locked the phone, it will require unlocking by cable a special hardware now.

Try with wrong sim in then enter the code into the "undo restriction" screen.
