Britney Spears breaks her record for marriage length.

Its been a long two years, but I have to say I'm proud of Britney for shattering her previous two day marriage with this long-winded espousal. People may have doubted her commitment when she said her vows for the second time, almost 26 months ago in September 2004, but she certainly showed that she is a woman who does not take commitment lightly and certainly has what it takes to prove her doubters wrong. Having celebrated both her paper and cotton anniversaries she has done all her fans proud, and has two beautiful kids to show for it.

You go girl, maybe next time you might reach your wooden anniversary!

Over here in America, this is like having your birthday and Christmas at once. I couldn't give a flying rat's ass about Britney's happiness but I am cheering for mine. FINALLY that shiftless, money-sucking, weasel-eyed cnut "K-Fed" wil be off my tv once and for all (after the inevitable tearful interview(s) about how he 'truly loved her' etc, etc) and ubercnut Rumsfeld is out, too, according to the message left on my phone by a hysterically giggling, delighted friend of mine. Praise the LAWD!

I had the dubious pleasure of hearing samples from a couple of his 'songs' on some mtv show one day. They were showing him in the recording studio. It was truly awful stuff, every bit as bad as you'd imagine and then some. No doubt he'll make a few quid now from selling his story and the inevitable book. But I can see him being forgotten very quickly as he simply doesn't appear to have anything much going for him in terms of talent, personality etc. Nothing that would even land him a career on cable tv channels or on the c-list celebrity circuit.

I can see this getting ugly, sure I read she married him in the first place due to the fact he had some secrets on her(Like he was supplying her with some illegal substances)now she has kid's i'm sure that not the case anymore and she is swiftly getting rid!

Yeah definately planned... The appearance on the Leno show looking back to her old self The SAME day she files for divorce.. Her PR people must have been working over time on this.. fair play is right

She's done herself a big favour, not only is she rid of Ferretline but she has been getting great press since she filed for divorce from him, she would be mad not to release a new CD sometime soon because she hasn't had a half decent amount of good publicity in about 2 years.

Wow what a shock, she decideds to divorce him just as she is preparing to begin promotions for her new ablum, que about two weeks free publicity. I wonder if there will be a custody battle for the kids that will be reported on in every crap newspaper and sh1t magazine for the next few months. Oh yeah and maybe she'll have to have a cry on Oprah and Jay Leno about how she thought he was her one true love but how brave she is being for her kids, well that should cancel out all the bad press she was recieving over driving the kids in her car without seat belts and smoking into thier faces, well look how that worked out. Oh and I guess shes single again so that means she'll be able to be seen out having drinks with Colin Farrel or Jamie Fox or generic actor man 32123, I wonder if that'll mean there will be loads of photos of her in OK and Hello. How very coincidental, for fukk sake it wouldn't surprise me if she just happens to have a breast cancer scare in a couple of months so the women that painfully jealous female magazine journalists that love to take photos of her without make-up will suddenly feel to guilty and will go back to saying what an inspiration to young girls everywhere she is.
