who should mod AH

ho ho.

ok, so since i have gone on my 'let the sheep shepherd themselves' behaviour experiement (which is being quite successful by the way

) for AH, i have decided that we need to get some additional Mods in here so that i dont lose all of my hair.
besides, im really busy doing some actual work, and technically, im not even a mod of this forum anyway

so, whats this about new mods, well, there are a number of moderators that arent active here anymore, so i figured we shold get some more in and toss out those other losers that find other things in life more interesting than AH (as if! i hear you all cry!)

i have earmarked one person, but i'd like everyone to nominate 2 users they feel should be mods of AH, and give us a reason why as well. that would be nice.
lets all say something nice about some people, and at the end we can have a group hug.

as always, this is for suggestion, it does not mean that if every single person nominates pighead he will actually become a mod (god forbid, besides, ruthie would kill me if pighead could make suggestive sexual advances in the mod forum)

so let me know what you think.

I nominate Ruu - level-headed, helpful and all-round sound guy... It'd be good for him to lose all of those qualities.

Hagar - has a sense of humour, usually quite even-handed and takes his time to explain mod'ing decisions, and can be tough when needed.

My vote goes to Ruu.

But something to throw into the mix - what about mod rotation? Chosen canditates share-mod the forum for an agreed period of time, then switch over. It is a busy forum, anyone would get a pain in the arse with it after a while. Just a thought.
