graduate looking for a job

    I have a friend just finishing in edinburgh and will be (hopefully) getting a degree in electrical having done the diploma in cit and then joining the 3rd year of a 4 year course while there he got sponsorship from Johnson & johnson and a work placememt in year 3 in their quality dept no exp in electrical really they also keept him on all this year 2 days a week in same dept but he is now ready to come back to the ould sod and has sent off loads of cv through graduate.ie with no luck any tips of what other routes to try is also trying recuitment sites is there much work out there for electrical engineers I see a lot of people in electronics saying no boom there
