Well after talking to a couple guy friends, they have informed me that even if a guy is in a good relationship, he will stray if he s not getting everything he wants, no matter how much he cares for the girl...

What do you think? Is this true in your opinion ? :rolleyes:

Of course it's true for some guys. It's true for some girls as well! But that wouldn't be me, if I wasn't enjoying a relationship, then I'd leave, rather than cheat.

It's like everything in life, if you have something that's good but then something better comes along - you are either going to want that too
or want it instead. (Good's good, but better's better)

If what you had in the first place dosen't provide 'everything you want' (as the OP stated) then if that want is a big enough itch then you are just going to have to scratch it.

Seriously, of course there are some men who will walk if they aren't getting everything they want, in the same way that there are some women who will walk if they don't get everything that they want.

But for every guy who will walk there is a guy who will stick around.

Besides, if people could only communicate better with each other then perhaps discussing needs and wants could lead to no one walking out through lack of satisfaction.

Those who say they could stray or think that men would stray in general, have probabaly never been truly 'in love' per se.
I would think when you love someone unconditionally and entirely, you would not be able to physically allow yourself to damage your relationship by straying. As I said though, its subjective. I can only speak for one. :rolleyes:

Well not really, everyone loves the closness, caring, having a laugh and caring for that person, but love just comes and smacks you in the face when you least expect it... granted that might sound a little soppy, but sure hey :rolleyes:

I know what your saying Daddio. Deffo. No doubt certain types are in love with the 'idea' of being in love. They will strive for it in their relationships, but not neccessarily find it. When you genuinely fall for someone I think its usually unplanned and uncontrollable. It can't be forced OR avoided if you know what I mean. but there is definately a crew who 'dream' of it and 'yearn' for it.

I've never known a guy to go out "looking for love", I know some guys who'll go out "lookin for some loving" but they're only out for some sex. I don't think they're the same thing.

If I were to picture the kind of guy who'd go out "looking for love", I'd picture Brendan Fraser in 'Bedazzled' when he becomes the sensitive poet guy, if you know what I'm referring to.
