It appears that the last time I threw my headset across the room, I broke it. It survived every other time for the last 6 months, but last time it landed pretty hard.

Now, I want a new headset. I'm looking at These ones, but can anyone recommend any thing else out there, or should I buy these?

They are very flash for the [BTC] teamspeak , are you aware of the kinda language spoken there , maybe you would be better off with ones that don't have ear piece's . Just a mic would be better . Either way , get a move on .

My plantronics c60 ( think thats what they are called ) are fine , but then I only bought them cause thats all pc world had at the time . There is a guy skzKingy on TS that has an online store and sells them , I'll see if Juice has a link .

Well then YOU get a move on, got my credit card here all ready to go. I do want something a little more...er...sturdy, at the moment I have These ones and they're a little bit poo.

Yeah , that was it , audio 60's , thats what I got and I ain't broken them...... yet , and my wife constantly says " your shouting again " so they must be good enough at cutting out the outside noise ( yeah , outside noise , thats what I call whats going on in the house while i am trying to play ).

i have the Logitech Premuim 350 USB headphones
they are amazing for sound

I usually get cheap ones but they kept breaking so I got the logitech gamer headset, 45 euro, made sure not to throw it around, thing still broke, 1st the ear peices went then the mic, then the mic lock stopped working. Bought a creative cheapo headset, 16 euro, better sound than the logitech and quarter the price. Im sticking to these any more, if it breaks it breaks.

Sennheiser are by far the best set i ever had,thats including logitech premium,plantronic audio 90 etc.
Sound quality is from another planet with these babies.

ive had the pc150's since they came out (at over 80 uro i might add) and i highly recomend them. ill be getting a new pair as soon as my new credit card arrives as ive really put mine through the wars (no pun intended)

Well Im really happy with the ones I got from Lidl they have taken some beating, even from my Kids but they only get them in from time to time. If ya ever seem em in Lidl I recomend ya pick up a pair.

Im not really sure whats hot and whats not on the head phone market atm, but the more money ya spend they better they should be. That rule uasually appalies to all things.

Hmm, they're okay, but they don't cut out enough of it, I can still hear people trying to communicate with me, whatever that's about. I also find plantronics have a 'tinny' sound after a while. Although, someone has just recommended these being close enough to the professional gamer's headsets, although those come with an inbuilt soundcard. Swanky.

Heard lots of bad things about Creative and Logitech, some good, but when they go wrong, they go very very wrong.

I would go as far to say that Logitech are the most reliable makers of hardware ive come accross, and i make it a point to buy EVERY peripheral i need a Logitech one:)

I find that the platronics headband can get very tiring and give me a pain in my head after a while..I'm looking for a set that has well cushioned earpads +headband..the komplett ones look decent

I went with the Plantronics DSP-500's in the end, as I'm assured they're the best on the market at the moment for gaming.

We'll see how it pans out.

Lets just hope the mic keeps working for you,i had 3 sets of them and all 3 the mic broke.
When i went to exchange it was no problem as it was a known issue.
Trust me ive been through a lot of headsets and Sennheisers are by far the best quality imo.
