This is kind of hard for me to post, I have been reading boards.ie for awhile now and have yet to join up, I am currently 22 and studying at college in Scotland and having a great time but there is one thing that has always bothered me and that i've never quite come to terms with. I have no problems getting girls, and have had quite a few stunners trying to hook up with me but I have always had to push them away before it gets too close, truth be told I am quite ashamed of my penis size. My friends are always going on about how I am such an idiot passing up on those stunners and I always end up getting depressed over the fact that I have to stop myself from hooking up with them. A lot of nice birds that my friends would give their arms just to hook up with are intrested in me, and truth be told, I would like nothing better than to hook up with them as well, but I cant and I find myself getting so frustrated. I have had sex quite a few times in my teens before I started to realize that something was wrong, none of the girls I was with ever said anything but I knew something was up, in the changing rooms at the gym or swimming pool everyone seemed to have a bigger penis than mine and thats when I began to worry. My penis is 4 inches limp and 5.5 inches on the bone, I honestly dont know where to turn, I can't tell my mates for obvious reasons and I am afraid if I hooked up with one of the girls at college word would get around. Dont really know why I wrote this, I suppose I am really looking for advice and was just wondering if anyone has ever been in a similiar situation and how did they cope???

If no girls have ever said it to you about your size, then its only your own perception thats telling you its too small. To be honest, many many men think they are underendowed, but remember that when you look at your own, its from a different angle than if you;re comparing it to someone elses, so your own will always look smaller.

If you're passing up stunners, then go and have a chat with your doctor. He/she'll tell you if you're smaller than most, but i bet they tell you its perfectly normal. Then you can go and get all those stunners that you;ve been missing out on.

You know I was expecting you to say it's 2 inches or something after that description of how you can't even bear to take a girl to bed. In fairness you have no reason to pass you these stunners as you put it, your size is perfectly fine and actually falls only a small bit short of the average.

I think you are just overly obsessed with it....try not to think about it, the probable reason girls never mentioned it is because there is simply nothing wrong with it.

I think men obsess over penis size far more than women do.....we know that penis's are made in all kinds of shapes and sizes and the myth that only big can satisfy is just that - a myth.....to a woman, a satisfying sex life is about far more than what is between your legs and more about what is between your ears....so if you are well endowed up there - you are onto a winner! Maybe read up on oral sex & female masterbation techniques just to boost your confindence but if the girl likes you, she will like all of you.

Hey for what it's worth, I had a conversation with one of my rather gorgeous female friends recently and on the subject what she had to say was:

- Big penises make oral sex really awkward
- Technique + the whole interaction is more important than just a big penis
- Overly large penises mean that some positions are impossible, and others can be uncomfortable.

As I understand, average size is 5 - 7 inches when errect, so you are not unduly small.

Get over it and stop making excuses that are preventing you from having a brilliant time.

Agree totally! I am not sure of the stats but only a very small percentage of women actually come through penetrative sex, most of us climax though clit stimulation, - oral sex is a major part of that.

So really, I wouldn't worry too much about penis size, just brush up on all your other skills!

OP,I've slept with men of all sizes,both bigger and smaller than you and I can tell you now,your penis really isn't that small.

Also,I've noticed that men with large penises tend to just take it for granted that they're good in bed and just belt girls out of it which really isn't that great imo. Most of my best orgasms have been with averaged sized men who know what they're at.

I think it's mad that you're passing up so many opportunities. Different women like different things. Not all men like massive breasts so why should you think that all women like massive cocks?

To the Op i dont actually know if this is meant to be a troll! I was expecting you to say maybe 4 - 4.5 inches! im not saying this to make you feel better but 5.5 is not small! according to that survey 63% of respondents ranged from 5.5 to 6.5, and any of the extremes are just that! they are a bit smaller or bigger than the norm. you would definetly fit into the average category! Well I'll be! I always thought 6 was average but according to those surveys it seemed that when anyone other than the 'proud' owner was doing the measure it was around 5and a bit. India whats going on there? Not much it seems.
