Hey guys,

Ive date on Thursday (tomorrow) and i want to bring her somewhere quiet (soft music in the background) comfy seating (couches etc) maybe even candles....was wondering where the best place to bring her??... i was thinking Dakota (south William St.) but might be jammers by the time we get there... 7:30 + ....

what can i say..ima softy at heart! lol...:p

How about brewing your own beer and fermenting your own wine, buy your own candles and invite her around. it will cost a fraction of taking her out, you ll learn aload of stuff in the process, she ll think your amazing and the drink will taste even sweeter.

Tomorrow eh.. well if it were tonight I'd say Traffic cos they've 2 for 1 cocktails and the surroundings are as smooth as a.. :v: Apart from that, upstairs in 4shame lane is cool. Dakota is plush though.. it being a Friday night and all I doubt if you'll find a 'quiet romantic' place. Best o luck though

Dakota doesnt get busy till about 9 or so... thats the best place for some chillin and the likes... and plus if you like wine its only 13 euro a bottle.... nice

There is a nice bar just opposite Eamon Dorans (Piano bar) which could work.

Personally i wouldn't go mad bringing her to expensive places and shelling out loads of cash on beer if i wasn't reasoably sure she was going to put out.

i'd suggest going to one of the hotel bars
somewhere like the morrison - its going to be quiet and chilled (expensive though)

Ok wel i can't remember the name of this place but it is really nice and just what you are looking for i think....
As you are walking down Dame St towards Dublin castle it is on the corner just before the Olympia on the Olympia side of the street.
In fact if anyone knows the name of it just put it up....not that I'll need it....ever
