Reverse Gear

Anyone ever fit a reverse gear module to a savage ? mine arrived today looks a bit complex i.m.o. but I'll tackle it later maybe.
Any takers? any help appreciated.

it has to fit, not much point in it if it will not fit.

Only way i could get it to fit was if I opened up the reverse and took one side off it

I know dude... something is amiss kind of sorry I didn't take any pics now. I put it back together the reverse module is lying idle, at least I put my new brakes on.

well post some pics and ill look at mie if you want, diddnt do the thing but have instructoins and first hand picture!!!!

tallus man it is not hard at all. all it should be is strip out the two speed case from the main body of the truck, open this case up and you should see 3 bars all with gears. if i am right the bottom one has one cog and behind it is a kinda plastic disk with a bearing in it. u need to get out the plastice disc and there should be a slot then to fit in the module. the diff cup and the swing arm on the module should go through there slots in the plastic case then its just a case of replacing all the other cogs back in and closing it up . once re sealed attach the second diff cup to the bar sticking out to the case and that should be it.

oh and attach the servo to the swing arm on the reverse module insure that u have your radio on and that the arm is push in when the switch is in one direction and swing arm is out in the other direction.

Thanks for the help mugen, I fell down on that plastic disc, didn't know it was removable, might give it a go again tomorrow.
Weather permitting will be definetly shooting video on sunday either way :-)
