Sorry lads, I was tryin to be a bit too smart there and sarcasm doesn't really come across well in text.. anyhows. One thing that irks me is how apparently every dublin skanger is mad about the ra etc, yet the reebok classic runner has become part of said scanger uniform.. and the classic runner clearly has a lil ole union jack on it?! The high point came when a lecturer asked us where we wanted to be in 5 years, and he said he wanted to be a hip hop producer and club DJ I nearly fell out of my seat laughing. God forbid I can imagine the gig,.

To clarify, I love rap, and I prefer a tracksuit to jeans, but tbh its as much a comfort thing as anything. And in this part opf Dublin its basically the standard dress. If I wore any other sh1te Id be liable to get abuse from the next gang of skangers I walk past, and probably with good reason.
I actually have to laugh sometimes, I work in a call centre, its fairly dress down type of thing but in the beginning i assumed it would be all tight on it, so I wore a good shirt and black school type trousers. The looks of "what are ya dressin like" I got from the wee schwars I passed on the way to work was unreal, like I was betraying my roots or something
If I was a black death metaller mosher (heaven forbid) Id say Id still be partial to Nike hoodies and baggy tracksuits. But this red lad wears fcukin doo-rags
