On my old router I would choose 192.168.1.254 and use admin as the username and wifi password as the password, but it doesn't seem to be working on the F3000 router I got a couple of year ago. Is there a trick to it?
Yeah it should be the default WiFi password on the sticker.
Maybe try a factory reset first, use a pin/SIM removal tool/paper clip to press the reset button on the back for 10 secs -

Yes this worked, thank you so much
Check the sticker on the router itself that was supplied by Eir. it should show both Wifi Password and Box Password. To log into the router use the box password… (user name : Admin)
