It's clearly not working. That's why I said he needs someone he can have a good relationship with.
He was with Rotella before the final round of the Cognizant. Lowry decided to change his approach on the 15th and messed it up. He's getting bad advice and has a terrible reaction to a bad shot. Just because a guy, Rotella, has a great reputation it doesn't mean he is suitable for everybody.

as yes. He caddies for Min Woo Lee now, who has a current higher world ranking than Shane. But I wouldn't imagine they have the same Guinness sessions.
He should of never got rid of Bo imo..
I don't think Bo lasted the season with Min Woo last year. I'm sure Portrush was a factor in his hiring last year but I think he's moved on.

No bogeys in last 28 holes and 10 birdies. Would be fantastic to see Shane do something like this more often. Usually, even when going well, gets it hard to keep the bogeys and double bogeys off the card. Seems to be getting a bounce off changing caddie. Hopefully a good day tomorrow which could do wonders for his confidence.
doesn’t really matter where he finishes tomorrow, all that matters is he doesn’t have another final round in mid 70s with mental and swing faults. Just 4 solid rounds in a row is what he needs.
wud take a top 10 now given how disappointing his final days have been when in contention, for tomorrow to be deemed a success he needs to be above average for scoring on the day, anything below average will be disheartening and re enforce the impression theres a mental block on closing day.
Out with Clark today. For me an improvement for Shane would be for someone to win it that Shane to give it away. So solid steady round and picking up birds when opportunity presents itself. Rather not see early birds then nothing for a half a round where pars and bogies. Then finish up with a few late birds to make it look like a good finish but really never in it after the lull
Clark is a great one for him to be out with. They are both very aggressive players.
ok I take it back, finishing with bogeys on 3 of last 5 holes to drop out of top 10 and finish joint 22nd put a bad look on the whole week. Was putting in a patient solid round until then. Doesn’t seem to have the mental or physical stamina to finish out the week at the moment.
Had played 41 holes without a bogey on the card. Unfortunately undid what looked like a very good week with 3 bogeys in last 5 holes. Hopefully he can take some positives out of this but would have been great to see Shane just hang in there and finish well.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he flew directly back to Offaly after finishing yesterday than going back to Florida
A solid tournament but those 3 bogies at the end were a killer. From a potential top 10 finish to drop outside the top 20. Bit of a shame
his short / medium putt percentage must be very bad, between Sat and yesterdaythere were lots of missed opportunities , that must drain his energy pretty quick
