He is the legal representative of the head of the teaching council. Why couldn't he see the emails anyway? It affected his client.
Burke was trying to create a molehill out of nothing and was, as usual, throwing his toys out of the pram.
Because EB went [inclusive of the emails] the ex-parte route to the court. The only person who should have known about the emails was EB. This goes with the single party applicant being present in the court for an ex-parte hearing. The other side of whatever is going on is legally barred from and NOT supposed to know of, let alone be present at, the hearing.
It seems that the Teaching Council meeting, after a fashion, with EB went ahead yesterday and was deferred until Friday pending the outcome of EB's appeals about Mr O'Sullivan and the head of the council's presence at the hearing. I do not know what the outcome is/was of the afternoon session at the court presided over by Judge O'Connell.

To make sure its not about 'They', it's just about him showing up to the school with a court order in place. He can't bring up any excuse he has used for the others now! Unless it's a judge who put it in place, no one is biased on a court order.

I hear he also objected to the fact that members of his family were asked to give their full names upon entering the teaching council meeting, trying to make out that this was grounds for bias or grounds for his appeal to be approved. Everyone has to state their full name when they enter these meetings or they don't get in. They really are scrapping the barrel now looking to be offended by anything and everything. They are the wokest bunch of hard-line traditional Christians ever 😄

And as I’ve said before on this thread, the world has moved on from this culture war. With Musk’s takeover of Twitter, the left v right debaters were fractured so their arguments ended. Trump had rolled be DEI initiatives, there’s been huge change. And this dose is still arguing about a child who is probably half way through university at this stage.

Well they are against dancing and anything that could possibly liberate or bring joy to a person. And the sun was previously worshipped by the masses so they probably still see it as competition and in conflict with their warped beliefs. Best stay indoors.

I know, and agree, that we shouldn't make any allegations about them. But as a general question, in terms of maturing what outlets did they ever have as hormone filled teenagers like every other teenager that ever lived? Can't imagine they were at the teenage discos. It can't be healthy to be so isolated.

According to what's available on the net about time-length of investigation, AI says it can be be between 18 months to 2 years long BUT that was the AI reply.
The Teaching Council [information for registered teachers] has better information. The Teaching Council info for registered teachers says it can only investigate REGISTERED teachers. The fact that one is NOT in receipt of a state salary does NOT prevent a council investigation into a complaint against a teacher. All that seems to matter is whether one is, or is not, a registered teacher with the council.
I would suspect that the teaching council investigation is to take the current situation and apply it to see if he is fit to continue to teach but I don't know.
Also his behaviours over the past number of years is way out of line. Harassing the school and misrepresenting his situation time and time and time again and flaunting the law. He really should be allowed any where near a school or in a classroom ever again or near any vulnerable child or teenager ever again.
If he's faced with a transgender teenager the same thing and hate will happen again and I think that's wrong.
There's no fear of him teaching any time soon though considering that he's still self imprisoning himself for his own agenda and also his name is so well known, I can't see how anyone would ever employ him out of fear of the same nonsense.
