Placed order June 16 & tracking shows 'export customs clearance success' and then 'airport awaiting flight departure '. Never had the 'customs ' hurdle on any previous order. Anyone explain?

has Temu increased their advertised prices today by e3+? Many items in basket increased this morning ie. e1.24 to e4.26, e3 to e7, e14.27 to e16.80
Does anyone know if we decide to not pay the €3 per item charge will items be returned to Temu or what happens?
You seem to be correct. I just got a delivery of various random things. Velcro Cable ties 20 for .89 cent last week… Now 3.09, Rubber seals were 1.05, now 3.63. That's the end of Temu for me.

Yes, tons of price increases, but not all products and most of those that got more expensive overnight went up by about €2.5.
EDIT: I just realised I had discount coupons applied both to my basket as well as the orders already paid for, so you were right, prices did go up by €3.
maybe they'll do it in two steps before 01/07, and then say 'look the new tax is included, look at this value'
I doubt Temu will ever see the items again. I've had items from Germany that that failed customs and never got back to the retailer. You'd wonder where it goes?
Look at it this way if An Post isn't going to make any money sending it back what do you think will happen to it?
If you switch to a non-EU temu site, e.g. the UK, the prices for the same items & sellers go back to what they were before the increase for us (minus VAT diff and geolocated pricing for selected items).
Just tracked my order has gone 'flight departed' so should arrive before July 1. However shocked at 'new prices' on ordered items, as stated above. 0.67c now 3.13, 2.72/5.27, 1.66/4.08, 0.49/3.03, 2,80/5.11, 1.92/4.34, 4.38/6.25 etc. etc. New legislation has desired affect. Bye bye Temu.
The increases apply for multiples of the same product so they have not automated any reduction in duty applied for multiples. Bye bye Temu.
why are people surprised or shocked ? It’s been all over the media since Christmas that prices would increase
I assume temu will adjust their pricing to reflect it's per same item as today is first time people have seen price increase it may be teething problems (my assumptions could be wrong)

Heres hoping An Post dont decide to warehouse or lose anything just to find it by June 30th and deliver on July 1st with a gigantic windfall tax for themselves
The money is going to the government like any other levy, it’s not going to fund anpost

Question - the Temu item above says Local Warehouse. Does this mean it won't be subject to the 3EUR customs charge?

An Post admin charge €6.95 who would expect people to believe tgat the Irish government are charging over two times the €3. Get out of here with nonsense like this
Admin charges are not exclusive to an post , so if temu switch to another provider you would be paying more than 6.95
Governments arent making any significant profits from an post, as stated already an post want this postponed
the 6.95 charge only applies if the correct charges are not applied at checkout and a charge will always be incurred when a courier collects fees, I’ve paid fed ex and dhl many times over the years
why would it be free? While a trivial task, someone still has to be paid to do it.
Think it's just if the duty isn't paid. An Post have contact the buyer and return it if not collected.
Pretty much all items from my last order are now €3 each (or very close) more expensive. Fatal flaw with them just adding €3 to every item is that one order of the ten same items at 3.30ea was 33 last week , it's now 63 but as all items are identical it should now be only 39 based on the new rules. I've excluded vouchers from this example for simplicity.
Anyone know if items marked as Local Warehouse on TEMU are liable for the new €3 customs charge? Thanks
Does anyone know of a Parcel Motel alternative. I used it a lot pre Brexit but the only companies I can find now involve driving up North to collect your parcel

Noticed prices increased by more than 3 on several items in my basket - some infact by 5! I had screenshot a few bits last week so I am sure.
Do we know if the increased price reflects Temu adding the extra charge at source? Or is it a case of this arriving and An Post then possibly slapping on another 3 per item?
if the charge is the import tax then an post can’t charge €3 per category and then €6.95 handling
I guess you will only know when you head to checkout and see if it’s listed as import
