Rory's wedge play letting him down again. The one part of his game which is dreadful for an elite player. To hit the ball 15 yards long from 130 yards is costing him with 3 bogeys in a row
Must be so infuriating when he is driving the ball well to be messing up wedge shots and then after 3 bad ones in a row he stitched one to the flag

Rory after throwing away the tournament. Taking 5 to get down from the middle of the fairway 135 yards from the hole yesterday was shocking. Just giving away shots at the moment through sloppy play

I'm glad I'm not watching this, watching Germany v Ivory Coast. I'm following the leaderboard though. It seems very frustrating, I can only imagine how Rory is feeling.

As a big Rory fan, desperately disappointed. Another shot gone on 18. 120yds to flag for second shot, airmails the green and walks off with fifth bogey of the 9.
After 8 holes today, he was third. Not even in top 20 now. Another pointless 66 coming tomorrow and he will be half way back to Florida while the business end is happening.
He's clearly off his game. Which in some ways makes it all the more impressive that he is constantly in the conversation even when this is the case.

Smoke and mirrors front 9 with unreal lag putting was way off with his irons Sat and Sunday. Even his chipping has left him down. These won him the Masters 2 months ago. He looked defensive over everything except driver. He has done well to even be +3.
If he can reset and and somehow get to -2 it won't be far off. Everyone within 5 shots of second has to assume Clark could collapse. Someone at +2 or 3 teeing off 2 hours before the leaders could make a run at Scheffler easily. That has to be the target in case Clark pukes up.
I would just happy if doesn'the fly the green on the 10th again. Both rounds unravelled at the 10th

He was asking Rory if he needed any tips about thr course as he played his first Open there like 50 years ago. I think its meant in jest but he can't convey that at all is the problem
