two nights
Source please?
That would be ridiculous.
It should St Anger night one, LULU night two. Featuring a Lou Reed hologram.
😁
Lovely pints in Clarkes in Irishtown/Ringsend beside Ringsend Church that should be nicely busy but not crazy busy
Now that'd be giving the people what they want!
If you’re a stout drinker. The Yacht across the road is a great pint.
I’m staying at camac valley camping, getting the Luas in from red cow, was going to go to the point and walk to the aviva? But seeing here people getting the dart from Connolly, I’ve never been on the dart or Luas, which way would be better?
Get Luas to Connolly (a couple stops before the point) and Dart to Lansdowne road gets you right outside the stadium
sound man I’ll do that so, on another note the sun is out here in the west, hopefully it makes its way across to dub.
Looks like the rain is gonna hold off til about 10 or 11pm
The Phil design is a t-shirt too
Praying they'll have some M left in the stadium
Just to be aware, if the luas is heading for the Point it won't stop at Connolly. Would have to get off at busarus and cross the road, its the stop just before connolly.
Early entry here, people were buying multiples of the event items (posters and shirts)
This is gonna be absolutely class
It's lashing in maynooth, how is it in the city??
Sun is coming out, if it stays like this it's gonna lovely
Can forget about it so
Is it known if support bands set up at same spot? Will head towards that and if so on Sunday.
Yeah I picked up one of each for myself, as you'd expect resellers buying multiples of posters and things,
Given the phil Lynott tribute is say they'll be sought after, wondering what the print for night 2 will be as they are supposed to form one image
I'm by kirks side, I've no idea tbh where bands setup, a lot of avatars equipment seems to be by my end
Nearly there now, is there food at the stadium?
Thought the poster was '1 per customer'
Did you know that going in? Or just see his equipment in that area?
heavy rain incoming,,,
I’m parked in sheriff street upper behind the convention centre, is this a safe area to leave a car?
Absolutely non stop rain on the north side all day, whereas on the south apparently it's been reasonably decent!
10 quid ponchos arrive as the rain stops...
Fortunately I brought a rain coat
Had some drizzle in south Dublin but apart from that it looks to be fine and even that seems to be dying down.
Edit I jinxed it haha
Nope, people know by equipment tbh I don't do that level of research I just went with the dip in the stage, it's in the round so I don't care at all,
You get two cracks at different views anyway so I don't stress over it
It should be enforced but sure you know yourself it's students doing this stuff for the weekend, you'd see a lot of lads trying to bully the staff into looking for the foil versions of posters through the pile ( 10 in the venue apparently for those lucky few),
A lot of these lads resell the merch to follow the band around, I think Tools the worst for it
In a word, no.
