Prima Facie sold out in about four minutes. I know it was the Gaiety but I was surprised with no queue or waiting room.
Oh, hopefully that's a change of tack from them, they never used to allow Vicar St resales 🤞
Resale is on for Bell X1 there.
Its a scummy move by Aiken not allowing resale on events if they arent sold out.
Not promoted by Aiken. Pretty sure it’s an aiken family belief that resale is of no benefit to their wallet and don’t want to facilitate touting
..
Bit of a joke that they don't allow it tbh in this day and age tbh
I think Foggy Notions is the promoter for Beta Band in Vicar Street
Thanks for your replies. I was hoping that maybe they were just waiting for The Scratch to finish their run of support for Kingfisher. I have tickets for James Taylor in the Iveagh Gardens the following week and they have resale so I thought maybe Aiken were allowing it. Any suggestions of other places to maybe buy a ticket. I’m signed up for Toutless but not fully fledged as I joined recently.
Have you tried Twickets? I got Tylor the Creator tickets on there which was sold out pretty quickly - just kept looking and they came up eventually.
Interpol/Bloc Party have added Heartworms as support. Brilliant choice.
Brian Fallon Solo, my body is ready.
Ah, never clicked that when I saw a notification that Heartworms were playing the 3 Arena.
Don't think Paul McCartney will be touring this year
Yeah, I got a songkick notification and was excited. Not as good as their own gig but I'd been toying with Bloc Party anyway, so this increases the chances of me going
Anyone got the presale for this?
For Metallica, MCD says it starts at 6pm but the Aviva are saying 5:30pm, surely it will be 6pm as gates open at 5pm ??
Wolf Van Halen adds Dublin to his already announced Belfast gig, tickets on sale Monday.
According to a flyer on reddit, its avatar at 5.30 and pantera at 6.30. Metallica at 8pm
Kingfishr announcing their 2027 tour already, Belfast, Marlay and Thomond.
Seems they're striking while the iron's hot.
Must be one of the biggest Irish acts at the minute.
28 minute tour announced.
8pm is very early, they will be off by 10, will still be bright.
exit right enter light take my hand we're off to the dodgy merch man.
Sadly goes with territory of the venue, can’t be going too late near posh Dublin 4 households
I know Aikens allow resale For the Marquee gigs
Will prob be 8.15 onstage and maybe play till 10.15-25.
Late August is a much better window for Ireland summer shows.
and it appears Iveagh Gardens also:
but august doesn’t lend itself to stadium tours. football stadiums back in use throughout Europe since mid/late July and august is historically a slow ticket sales month as its peak holiday season and electric picnic utilising so much of the experienced crews.
Yes I know all that, I guess beggars cant be choosers.
Music curfew is 22.45. It's 22.30 for St Annes and Fairview
Kodaline teasing more Irish dates for their fairwell tour, guessing a 3Arena show included
