Anyone have any idea what merch is available at the shows? Having a clusterf**k of a week and can't get to the Pop-Up shop today or tomorrow, so I'm planning on checking out what's on sale at the Aviva on Friday and maybe getting to the Convention Centre on Sat.
Couple of spots around the concourse on every level inside the stadium, possible there will be one on the small rugby pitch to the side of the stadium but they generally dont open till after the doors open and you have to get to a ticket check to get to it and if your not in that section they might send you away

No queue to get into the shop, I genuinely considered buying a bowling shirt....
Nothing mind blowing but if you like black and the Metallica logo you could kit out your whole wardrobe.
The album t shirts are the exact ones you could get in Golden discs.
Seen a few videos on YouTube of the shop in different countries. Nothing in the range of the shirts had me thinking "I must get that".

Tomorrow will be 37 years, 8 months and 15 days since I first saw this band step up on stage as a very young teenager in an oppressed Ireland and rip in to Blackened. Going with a good friend tomorrow who was there and my brother on Sunday who was also there.
I still cannot fathom how big they became as the thrash scene was never in the charts or on tv or radio (bar Mick Rock's show and pirate radio). I was a bit emotional at Slane when they played Ride The Lightning. If we get a couple of songs off that album and And Justice For All I think I'll be in heaven for a while.
Would around 4.30 be too late to get the dart from either connolly or tara street to be there for first band?

No it only takes 10 mins everything running smoothly then give half hour to get in..queues/security..dont think we'll make Avatar now looking at those set times..was hoping for a half hour later :/
