Ballindine Mayo, 4 x CCS replacing old broken unit
3 years on and the Circle K lake view roundabout chargers are still not active
Chademo clearly done for. No new chargers with Chademo in months.
Anyone heading to Kilrush Co Clare- 2 high speed ESB chargers just at the entrance to the dock- near the SuperValu - wonderfully fast 😀
I see Bunratty mentioned above - a godsend the other day -was in EV charge heaven 😀- gets you a full tank in next to no time to go deep into the Burren
I was there last week, one had the cables cut off already.
Too close to the "red zone".
Circle K and EZO are still installing them, think ecars are the only crowd who aren't installing them anymore
Ezo replaced a chademo/ccs spot in Westport with 2 Combo CCS ones last year. Im just not seeing any new ones, can you advise the most recent Chademo installation (even if its under construction) as Plugshare sees nothing new for me with my filters
https://www.plugshare.com/location/928726
Built last year, 3 chademo 6 CCS. There might be a more recent one but I'm not so sure
Using plugshare filters it gave me this map of Chademo and coming soon/under construction
Hope it's ok to ask in this thread. Total newbie here. What's the best app/approach to public charging. I'm hoping to order an EV in the next week and if my home setup is not installed by the time I take delivery - what is the "dummies guide" to Ev charging (app/payment), please? Does the one app cover all chargers. Are the charging stations owned by differing companies. I'm clueless! Thanks in advance…
Hi.
No harm in asking. there is no one card to pay all operators. Mostly it's cheaper to pay for charging with the operators own app. There are some exceptions to this though as electoverse card is cheaper for some and not for others.
Have a look around and see what brand of chargers are local to you then download the app for those chargers and add your bank card to them. If they offer a free fob/card get it as it makes it very handy getting the charger started.
Ezo in Walkinstown has a ChaDEMo. 3 units, 6 x CCS and 1 ChaDEMo
Near Naas, hotel with 2 x CCS and a load of slow AC, seems live
Roscommon council offices, open to the public, mixture of slow AC and CCS. Weev also have another CCS site with chademo nearby.
Eniskillen, old triple head replaced by two units, 4 x CCS I think. Not showing up on ESB ecars app yet but look to be live, but may not yet b3 ready
Castletroy limerick
4 x CCS live but not showing on ESB ecars app yet
Mallow co Cork,
2 x CCS, seems live now
Another one for Cork...
Applegreen, Ballyvolane, Cork City.
2 x CCS. 150kW charger however appears limited to 60kW at the moment.
Apologies if this has been posted before but I haven't seen it and this site appears to be new.
Epower at North Point Business Park, Mallow Road, Cork City
2 X CCS - 47kW according to the app.
Applegreen Birdhill, Co. Tipp.
The expanded site opened today and showing on the app.
In total Applegreen have 6 chargers on site which can feed 12 cars + 6 Tesla chargers. Surely with the ability to charge 18 cars at once makes this location the largest fast charging hub in Ireland?
4 x 350kW chargers, 8 cars
2 x 120kW chargers, 4 cars
6 x 130kW Tesla chargers, 6 cars
Seems to be popular looking at the app. I'm going to be on the M7 later, I'll swing by and take a photo.
Creeslough Donegal, 4 x CCS, 4 x slow AC, up to 100kW, up to 71c/kWh, weev brand, officially launched today but some units showing error on myweev app
