A warm sunny day.
After an hour twenty-five minutes on hold on a queue with a government department (thankfully, no painful holding muzak!), the person who eventually replied transferred me to someone who could help me and in less than five minutes that person had resolved the issue for me and made herself available in case I needed further help. 10 out of 10 for customer service.
Love that! I was onto the passport office last week and was 32 in the queue.. 6 minutes later, someone answered and gave me good news! Was more than TH!

Yesterday my lovely cat did something else that impressed me greatly. I was sitting on the edge of the bed. She jumped up and sat beside me, purring. She tapped me on the shoulder a couple of times, I thought she wanted cuddles, but when I turned to look at her, while she was looking straight at me she brought her paw to her nose and rubbed it twice. I took it she asked me to scratch her face. Cat sign language, if you will. Isn't she a genius? She also allows me to rub her belly and hold and massage her paws, which I consider a great honour.
I often buy books from the charity shop, read them once and then give them to my parents to read or else my mother will bring them to her ladies club or sports club each of which has a bookshelf/sharing library. TH that she told me one of the ladies in her ladies club is really enjoying one of the books I gave her a few weeks ago and insisted that my mother reads it after her 😁

shop and detour back by the park. My favourite bench underneath the shade of the big tree was free and just landed myself there for 45 minutes. got comfy so relaxation was more appealing than my planned exercising. Enjoyed a bar of Miilka and refreshing cold drinks with my favourite tunes on the headphones…. Some familiar faces exchanging hellos etc but nobody I really knew so my peace and solitude wasn’t interrupted….sometimes that’s nice. Perfect weather, had cooled to warm but comfortable. 😎… and I remembered the sunscreen. 👌 🧴

I know if the wallet I ordered off company A doesn’t turn up.. as I’m guessing it might not, a ‘stock processing error’ that the business is trying to resolve…the exact same one is in a nearby Best menswear shop and they have 3 in stock in and loads in their other shops too…

I have my television to show subtitles if available (I know some people think that that's mad) but I usually manually turn them off for live television. This morning I didn't so when Deric O'Hartigáin sign off his weather report, he said his cúpla focail (Beidh mé ar ais ar leathuair tar éis a hocht" or something).
I don't know if it's usually AI or somebody manually doing this but the subtitles said "Sliotar Taoiseach Kwanghi Chan" in place of the Irish stuff. 🤣
