A reminder for people who used a Lyca eSim. It defaults to auto renewal. I had to register my SIM and create an account this morning to turn off auto renewal.
I just tested and it is still working for me.
on the lyca site itself? what does auto renewal do? I thought as long as I don't bother topping up it wouldn't do anything.
In the email I got about the eSim it says Auto Renew is enabled. I had to register an account on Lyca site and turn it off.
I'm not sure what the auto renew does, I assume it charges me another €9 but maybe I'm wrong. Either way I turned it off.

You're correct. I'm mistaken.
I was only toggling between SIM types and not selecting a plan. When I select the plan, I can proceed.
Edit: Phone ordered, order number received. Email received but "pending approval". Fingers crossed.

In the app if you click on the man body at the bottom, you get a menu with options like Orders, My Records.
There under Orders it is shown as Confirmed.
Under My Records it is shown as Cancelled.
Transaction is also still Pending so will probably fall off in the next few days.
Mine was just delivered. Never got an email that it had been shipped or anything and payment still pending on card.
