Schumacher was 4 to 5 seconds a lap faster than anyone that day. It was a joy to watch him power sliding out of corners. I remember Murry Walker absoluty astonished by Schumacher pace. True legend, for me the greatest.

Leclerc has signed a new multi year deal with Ferrari, I admire the commitment but the poor lad must love the misery
The pay must be great.
Saying that, he probably doesn't have many options, or at least he doesn't see any at other teams. He has been part of the Ferrari DNA for years now, he is one of the best on the grid, so it makes sense to have someone like him nailed down for a while.
Probably need one of the big drivers to move to create some open seats. Interesting to see if Bearman sticks around with Haas until Hamilton leaves which you'd assume will be at least 2028

On topic for f1, apparently red bull's engine is the strongest based on aduo rules, which just measures the ICE. So they are the baseline, Mercedes is 2% behind and gets 1 upgrade for this year and 1 for next, the rest of the pack gets 2 upgrades this year and 2 next year.
I'm not a fan of the engine freezes anyway, think it should just be cost capped like the teams and develop what you can.

Is any of the Le Mans race being televised anywhere?
Looks like TNT is covering it so hopefully it will be shown on Now Tv in Ireland. Not sure if any of it will be shown on YT.

Alex Albon will be the driver with most race starts for Williams after Barcelona, overtaking Nigel Mansell. 96 starts. For such a storied team, seems a relatively small number of races to be the most experienced, but I guess Frank Williams was a dick to most of his drivers (4 of his world champions didn't race for Williams the year after they won).
Its also twice the amount of races per year now than 10 years ago.
Its on TNT 3 for the whole race. But I buy the WEC Plus app for the race at £18 as it has all the onboards and ad free coverage. I can't stand the same ads over and over again……
I tend to dip in and out during the race and it’s usually easy to get a stream on YouTube. they’re not as militant about shutting them down as other sports - along with lots of legitimate team in-car streams on YT also
