A rear window versus the absolute tripe they've put out the last 15 years. Between cheap interior plastics and the diesel lemons they kept putting into them throwing rods, early bearing wear, give up the yard will ya I've had multiple mazdas in the past. The best you can come up with is a rear window replaced under warranty by a manufacturer with zero questions.

When you're hanging your hat on brand quality of the BYD Seal which has the rear window issue(mentioned already I know), peeling paintwork and various software issues -i'd say that's dodgy enough ground personally.

I've never in my life of owning vehicles experienced a manufacturer that's revised and dealt with issues as fast as byd with no questions asked. Not once, and I've owned Volvos, renaults, BMWs, mazdas, Nissans, Suzukis .
Not a single one of them have had the level of resolution with zero argument or even conversation. Fixes were included in the services like a breeze no blaim prescribed.Like it should be.

BYD seal is not premium. You keep telling yourself that as you spent your hard earned on it. It’s a mid range car, same as a golf. Nothing wrong with that. But don’t be a hypocrite by slagging off model 3 owners and then crying when someone slags off a seal.
Quality wise the seal is no worse or no better than the teslas. Dodgy software, radios, paintwork and interior peeling. Tesla’s have their own issues with suspensions and servicing. It’s 6 of one and half a dozen of the other.
