New thread as the last thread seems to be broken.
It's because the absolute nutters on both sides of the agenda are driving the narrative and the vast majority of football fans who couldn't give a shiny shite about some hole in the desert have to listen to this bullshit and have our football team taken over by people, the vast majority of which couldn't name more than two or three players in the Ireland team.
Dawson Devoy starting tomorrow. Looking forward to see how he gets on.
Edit: Tonight!
Isn't the match on tonight? FAI posted the match day squad this morning.
I'm assuming we'll see
.........…...........…Travers
............O'Brien Collins Abankwah
Coleman Coventry McGrath Scales
...................Ogbene Devoy
........................…Parrott
With all due respect to Coleman, and I know the manager wants a win, but we learn nothing from him being on the pitch so I hope he is not going to play 70+ minutes.
he’s barely kicked a ball all year so no harm. few new faces so be good to have him but I doubt he’ll play the 90 mins.
Umeh starting apparently. Big opportunity for him.
The Devoy rumour is coming from that Bohs spoofer. Ya think he be embarrassed enough after last week
Ireland 1 up against The Netherlands, a win here'd be huge! Carusa after a nice move… though the keeper was pretty horrendous, allowing it to roll gently past her.
What rumour?
Probably going by the numbers mostly. The starting XI last week bar Collins and Ogbene all wore a number 1-11.
Could be a busy day for Umeh if so. Maths paper 1 at 9.30am and his first start for Ireland at 7.30pm.
What a response to conceding
2 all now. Weather here in Cork is brutal it must be affecting both teams badly.
I'd take 2-2 now at this stage, the Dutch keep pushing
We fuppin scored 3-2 now a few mins to go
Nothing to lose in this game as they're guaranteed a spot in path 1 and they now get the 3rd. This will be a massive win
Deplorable reffing.
Hopefully just a one match ban and she'll be back for the first round of playoffs.
Massive result and keeps automatic qualification alive in a tough group.
Great win to come back twice after the Dutch levelling
Brilliant stuff, and a huge result. Been really good throughout qualification so far, each game against the two superpowers could've gone either way - brilliant to have the win from this one now.
Michael Noonan could be on his way to Holland with Ajax in advanced talks with Rovers for the lad.
Savage result
Carla Ward seems to be really driving standards up and we are fortunate to have talent in the squad to go with it
I've only dipped in and out of the women's to games in recent years, but this game was very enjoyable. Girls well organized and played well, were on the back foot throughout but counterpunched when they could,Larkin in particular was brilliant on the night, and a brilliant win
The defending for the second Dutch goal was comedy gold though.
...
Was at the match tonight. They're a fairly impressive bunch for a limited enough team and also missing a couple of key players. Great work rate and attitude and to keep going for the winner was great to see.
McCabe was poor enough though, guess its hard for her to do much when she gets so little of the ball
.....
Thank God. Now we can watch the second coming
You can be embarrassed on someone else's behalf instead of yourself again then.
