Has anyone used this successfully to remove moss? I'd prefer not to go down the taking it out approach if possible.
It gets good reviews, but just looking for a boards seal of approval before purchasing.

It works well although you should scarify and aerate the lawn or the moss will return quickly. Only downside of Mobacter is the smell, a neighbour asked me if I had a dead animal in the garden.
i remember talking to someone - possibly john lord from the ratoath garden centre, but don't quote me on this because i may be misquoting him - but he was sceptical of the likes of mobacter (even though i bought it there i think) because it's treating symptoms and not cause.
he reckoned trying lime - to raise the pH of the soil - was a cheaper way of combatting it IIRC.
I used it before. It worked ok, but as said above, the moss returned as it's usually a sign of something else. Usually poor drainage.
I've moss on top of a drain behind a retaining wall. It might be a bit shaded, but it's not in darkness. I'm going to give it a burst of lime as it will probably be needed.
