Alot of rain here yesterday and it was needed. Bit of heat now and we'll be sound!!!!
Make the most of things this week folks, loads of rain due the weekend 🙈
There Will be the same crowd roaring for rain as usual. I hope they get scalded.
The silage crews will be glad to get rained off next Saturday, they'll be thirsty by then
tthere pushing the rain out till sunday now
I reset the thermometer at 1ish and it’s located in the shade. Took the photo about 10 mins ago.
hopefully Sunday evening. We have our local festival this weekend and a good Sunday afternoon makes it
31.5 in the car, the cattle look under pressure in this heat.
A high of 27.1 yesterday and a high of 28.2c here today.
I had a spotlight on a loader stuck in place with hotglue. That melted off yesterday. A reel of volume washer hose burst on an outside wall this morning too. Probably softened with the heat.
some thunder here last 30 mins in Limerick, just after a torrential downpour with some hailstones thrown in, no dust now big drop in temp
Beautiful moon out tonight.
Very heavy steeps of rain here all day,a half mile over the road the ground is bone dry…..ya wouldn’t want to have hay down!
A lot of rain fallen here since early Saturday. Heavy ground had only dried out here with the good weather last week and now it’s soaked again and no dry days forecast till end of next week.
Bitch of evening with a cool SW wind and heavy downpours throughout the day.
June 15th before a new moon. Mowers will be busy then
June 2026 is like June 2012 all over again
Contractor at slurry here yesterday, was saying he has 17 1st cuts left to get to once the weather takes up, will be some panic on when a few good days do come
Got a few bits of rain here over the last few days, but the wind dries it out as quick as it falls. Was lucky with the first cut. It seemed to have rained all around me but managed to miss the rain.
We are long long way away from 2012. Never mind June 2012 where it basically rained the whole month but you also couldn't walk on heavy ground for basically the whole year then. One of the worst in living memory.
Tis only the 4th June yet... alot of rain forecast for next 7-10 days... might yet be every bit as bad as 2012...
Nice Bit of optimism there
13mm in 2 hours here this morning.
Cutting breeze at underage training last night due a strong wind.
Got baled up last week & just sneaking with slurry today...doubtful i'd travel with tanker next week.
Few people over the past few days are saying we are in for a good summer yet in July & August.
We'd want it here...heavy ground hasn't dried in 2 years around here
i follow weather and weather patterns a bit... the pattern with last couple yrs is similar to 2009/10/11/12.. 2023 being a repeat of 2009.. 2024 =2010... and now I think 2026 be similar to 2012....
As well as that UK had there hottest May since 2012.. New Zealand had there driest month of May since 2012.. hardly all a coincidence
Around here 12 was a wet year. 2013 had a very warm end of July & August
its a struggle to get silage anyways right down here last few seasons, everything is a rush job to try and avoid the rain
I remember when we used to do our own silage, it'd take us a week and we'd normally get the weather
Weather doesn't work like that. Climate might but weather doesn't
30 in the gauge this morning
35mm in 24 hours. All wanted here to keep grass growing. A bit of sunny weather would be nice again 😁
Some rain falling here in north kerry since 7am... biblical...
