Ireland Men’s U20s will step up their preparations for the 2026 Men’s U20 Six Nations when they welcome South Africa to Cork for a challenge match on Friday, 14 November (Kick-off 7.30pm).

Head Coach Andrew Browne assembled an extended squad at the IRFU High Performance Centre last week and Ireland will come together again for a six-day camp in November, before going head-to-head with their South African counterparts at Virgin Media Park.

Seems unlikely to be free to air, when the likes of Premier Sports purchase Rights to show matches it is usually sole rights.

That's a real shame. Having it free to stream was a great way to bump up interest. Nobody is going to subscribe to Premier Sports for the U20 World championship

Its not that much of a shame, and is a nice reward for people with subscriptions.

NowTv Sports Extra is like €34 a month and gets you PS and TNT so all the URC and CC games, plus Top 14 ( I think?) well worth the price for a rugby fan.

Not to mention the other sports it carries

Ah, I don't see it that way at all. It's pricing people out of watching an already pretty niche event. Money is getting tighter and tighter for most people.

I'd prefer to have it free to stream and have someone to chat about it with than feel rewarded for already having a subscription and not know anyone else who watched it.

Production value , commentary, pundits ( Maybe?) will all be significantly better on PS.

Its a good look for the game imo that an u20 competition gets that level of exposure, I may be alone but I reckon they will get just as many eyeballs if not more with senior level production value rather than a stream on YouTube

Oh premier don't go for production value in some URC games. Just straight into the game, no half time analysis, just highlights from previous week's games, and no post match analysis.

Maybe they'll go all out for the U20 championship. I'd be surprised.

Arthur Ashmore is another who misses out. Team is solid in all positions and I think they have a realistic chance of making it to the final. If it's only on Premier Sports i'm going to buy NowTV for 6 months. Irish Rugby needs a tonic at the moment with all the negativity.
