In response to US attacks on Iranian ports a couple of days ago, Iran fired a ballistic missile at Kuwait which was shot down by Kuwaiti air defences, the fallen debris accidently hit the US base destroying 2 US reaper drones and caused an unknown number of injuries to US servicemen.
Did Iran just fire one missile? If so that was a very successful attack.

Looks like 2 months of passing papers back and forth through Pakistan in order to come to a non binding one page framework agreement to move on to face to face negotiations is close to collapse.

I expect a survey of Middle-East countries would result in Iran being voted as The People's Champion for its resistance to the US and Israel and the West.

According to Iranian media no talks will take place until Israel leaves Lebanon and sounds like the Red sea is also about to close.
They were quite clear from the start that a ceasefire across all fronts was a requirement so something went wrong somewhere over the weekend.
Everyone would be better off if they were actually negotiating with children.
FWIW, the Guardian is reporting that both Hezbollah have agreed to yet another US ceasefire proposal, which Trump told the Lebanese ambassador had also been accepted by Netanyahu, only for Netanyahu to issue the following:-
“I spoke this evening with President Trump and told him that if Hezbollah does not cease attacking our towns and our citizens, Israel will strike terrorist targets in Beirut,” Netanyahu said, according to a statement released by his office.
He added: “Our position on this remains unchanged. At the same time, the IDF will continue to operate as planned in southern Lebanon.”

How would it be national suicide? Israel has one of the strongest armies in the world and is backed up by a superpower. These facts mean it's not going anywhere.
