Nothing like rioting on the street of Paris after winning the CL. Watch the difference with our parade today. Can’t buy class.
That's to be expected if Arsenal had won last night it puts into perspective how far off the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool are now.
Most people in Ireland support those clubs and it sits easier with them to say a well PSG bought the champions league and that's why they are winning it and not us.
Think Arsenal played a very tactical astute game last night.
Have to say the first half was probably one of the worst games I've ever had the displeasure of watching but from a tactical side it was a masterclass.
That's how you do it against this PSG side. And you boys nearly did it.
I know it hurts now but you can all be very proud of your team last night.
Was hoping you guys could do it. Definitely won't be far away next season. Maybe take PSG out on the way to the final..
Enjoy the parade today lads.
absolutely, it was more the vocal support that surprised me. Lads dancing around the pub when they scored and after the shootout.
Yeah its pretty sad imo. Experienced similar when Man City beat us a month or so ago. And they weren't Man City fans doing it.
Its embarrassing to be honest but dosent define any supporters from any action other clubs.
There is just an equal chance that either utd or liverpool win the champions league before Arsenal ever break their duck, given Arsenal's history in Europe.
Maybe, maybe not. Nobody can predict the future. One thing I do know is. Arsenal premier league champions 25/26.
And they did it playing ugly, boring, terrorist, masochistic, uninteresting and dull football.
….We like to call ONE NIL TO THE ARSENAL.
Fans of the likes of utd ,pool would see Arsenal competing for the same players as they are ,so feel it keeps Arsenal down a bit if they lost ,one of a few reasons maybe .
It's also a lot easier on their egos if the likes of PSG and City win because they're expected to with their resources and everything else they get up to. But now that Arsenal who have been the easy target for years are challenging and winning while their teams struggle on and off pitch it turns the mirror on themselves and shows how far the script has changed and they can't handle that. Arsenal are now here to stay so enjoy it lads
Of course there is, that why the PL has been and will always be the biggest prize
Anybody know where Martin Odegaard is? I can't see him on the first bus. Rice, Raya and Saliba are at the front. Wonderful scenes with the parade! 😁
Amazing scenes in North London there. Good days back at the club after so long. Love it.
Class club, class fan base. Don’t let the detractor's make us think otherwise. Love this team.
I’m excited for the future! Such a young team and plenty to go on and win. I hope the players get a good rest over the Summer after World Cup duties. I’m in Spain when they play the friendly in Dublin so unfortunately won’t get to go but I would have loved to see our champions even if it’s the B team playing. Because they’re pretty special too with the strength in depth we have.
Any particular names we’re thinking we’d like to buy? Agreed Rashford is a no but anyone else?
He's on the bus, saw him several times
he was lifting the trophy earlier so he’s not been sold just yet
I’d really like Barcola as our left winger. I know he didn’t capitalise on one big chance but I think he’d be perfect as a left winger
A bit of speed for counter attack.
Great parade today. Definitely lifted the spirits - great to see both the mens and womens team out there enjoying themselves. Would love to have been there.
Rogers Kourpi jnr
Fernandes
and some cover players
For me going forward there certainly won’t be any panic buying and like the recruitment for this season was top class, the new man that replaced Edu seems to be very shrewd in the transfer market. The media will go into over drive who is going to move to Arsenal. One thing I would like to see Declan as captain for next season. He covered some amount of ground last night.
Clearly. https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/arsenal-victory-parade-arrests-north-london-5HjdZwj_2/
over a million people at the parade, is this supposed to be some gotcha post? Over 800 arrests in Paris and they won last night ffs
Nope, just pointing out that idiots either being arrested or not being arrested has no bearing on whether a club has "class" (whatever that means) or not.
For me class is how the players, staff and fans in the stadium behave, not how random cling on wanker$ who are not fans at all but rent a mob idiots who turn up to riot at any opportunity behave outside the stadium.
But you said it would be different at the Arsenal parade and that you can't buy class?it's irrelevant how many were arrested, the facts were that there was trouble in London today, same as in Paris last night.
Except that the article you linked to mentions nothing of a riot. Drunk and disorderly isn't rioting. The bitterness and vitriol towards us in the other threads is bad enough without ye coming in here to fire it at us too. Well done. Bravo. Bully for you.
Champione Champione ole ole ole. Champione champione ole ole ole.
I love this club. Be a nice couple of months not having to stress though. We go again in August
You’re on the wind up. There was no riots in North London today. 9 arrests out of over 1m fans partying on the streets is probably unprecedented. Let go of the hate and go watch the videos of the Arsenal fans having a great time today and you might feel better about yourself then.
Met police stated today’s parade was the biggest football parade in the UK ever. Wow.
