No Timber in the lineup is a massive massive loss. Its an awful lot to ask of anyone against that Georgian lad, but Mosquera out of position against him is a monstrous task.
White and Setford are the two players not in the squad from the last Champions League match.
It will be interesting to see what way we go with subs. There's more than 5 players on the bench who could make a big impact.
I wonder how fit is Timber? Surely it would be a massive risk to introduce him and possibly have him go off again? I assumed he'd start for that reason With Timber and Merino back in the squad, who loses out on a place on the bench?
I love Lehman
Not the team I expected at all, at least we have plenty of options to finish strongly if we need to.
I thought Gyokeres would start and Timbe.
martinelli to come on at 60mins and score the winner
Arsenal starting XI: Raya, Mosquera, Saliba, Gabriel, Hincapie, Rice, Lewis-Skelly, Odegaard, Saka, Trossard, Havertz.
Subs: Arrizabalaga, Jesus, Eze, Martinelli, Timber, Gyokeres, Norgaard, Madueke, Merino, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Dowman.
Shame Timber doesn’t start but I like MLS in midfield
Not the team I thought would start but let's go
What channel are we all opting for? Im thinking RTE but If Ray Houghton or Whelan are on then il lose the will to live pretty quick
I saw a Kenny Cunningham thing on instagram where they ask him to pick between Arsenal and PSG players to form the perfect 11. First question was between the 2 keepers and he starts by saying neither and selects the PSG sub keeper. The man is a turnip of the highest order
Usually an hour and 15 minutes before kick off for CL games.
What time will the team be announced?
As a neutral, I think Arsenal will do it tonight but it won't be easy at all. 1.1 and penalties.
seems very well organised at the ground
We have this in in the background
In Barcelona for the weekend, already saw two Arsenal jerseys, mad excited for it now.
Cheers Man
Enjoy, it's a great day out for a neutral so I can only imagine what it's like for Arsenal fans. Have fun and best of luck.
Having First beer in Budapest.
Feels like 10 to 1 Arsenal fans
Just saw the Tom Hiddlestone’s video on the Arsenal site. Hairs on the back of my neck. We go for it. This is our best chance of ever winning it. No Ronaldinho like 20 years ago! I’m not buying into this as a bonus win or cherry on top of the league. This will make that team immortal & as fans I think we deserve it after years of frustration!
I found it quite relaxing watching that training session with no commentary. The stadium is amazing also - the atmosphere will be huge.
Defo great to have a full squad also.
I would say the same about PSG also given they have effectively only had three weeks off since last season - but the French league actively protects and assists PSG (and any other French clubs deep in European competitions) by heavily manipulating the domestic schedule.
Yeah a few big decisions alright, wouldnt be able to pick the starting lineup myself.
Raya starts anyway. First time in the last 8 cup finals that Arsenal will field their first choice keeper. Previous 7 finals had the back up starting.
Timber starts i think, but is he going to be a 100% fit and how many minutes will he be able to give us? Hincapie or Calafiori, I dont know who he goes for here. Gabriel Saliba certs.
Midfield Rice, Odegaard and im going to go Zubimendi. MLS could possibly play there, based on the last few matches. Saka and Trossard on the wings, with Martinelli to come on late.
Up front i dont know. Coin flip between Havertz and Gyokores, suppose it depends on what type of match the manager thinks it will be.
Just looking at the players doing a training session, and it's mad that we have almost a complete squad for today. Arteta is going to have a few tough decisions. What do people think our starting lineup will be? I think Havertz and Merino are big game players, and I think I'd like to see them come off the bench to close out the match.
Like others I’m not as nervous after wrapping up the holy grail of the league title. However it would be something truly special to win tomorrow and not have that tag of never winning the European cup which will always be thrown at us until we win it. Good times no matter what. Enjoy it.
not really arsenal news but Sterling was arrested in suspicion of drug driving after crashing a Lambo on the m3
the fans are going wild in Budapest
timber is fit that's a great thing
I think this was just a rumour with no truth to it.
It’s happened 16 times in total and twice in the last 3 seasons. There won’t be a special trophy 🤣
Thsts got to be a joke. Loads of teams have won unbeaten
Do ye get it if ye lose in extra time🤔 Only kidding, hope ye win tomorrow, always felt ye were robbed in 06.
