Had these pop up the other day, car is running perfect, no power loss that I’ve noticed etc, I have noticed an ever so slight turbo whistle when changing up gears recently so maybe related. P0002 refers to a fuel regulator and some suggestions online relate to fuel starvation, I’m thinking of changing the fuel filter the weekend anyway.

The codes popped up as I was climbing a steepish hill in 5th gear, and I was able to replicate it since by trying to accelerate on a steep incline. (In 5th gear 90kmh and hit the throttle)

Any ideas or wisdom welcome.

One of the few common faults on these cars is the fuel primer bulb - it can burst, develop a pinhole etc. If the hole is big enough, too much air will enter the fuel line and the car won't run. You might get away with a tiny pinhole but perhaps it would result in a fuel supply fault code.

Interesting you say that- a few years ago that bulb developed a very tiny leak - resulted in hard starting until I sealed it, it was weaping diesel at the time(it’s not now but I’ll keep an eye on it)

Edit- I just gave the bulb a few squeezes and it did indeed leak- could be the issue.
have you replaced them?- I see ridiculous prices for them on Renault- hopefully motorfactors has a kit.

They are about €140 if I remember correctly. Spurious ones can be troublesome. If you plan on keeping the car long term, for peace of mind you might be better off getting the genuine one.

My bulb burst when it was at the main dealer getting the fuel filter replaced. They replaced it with a generic bulb, hoses and jubilee clips instead of a genuine part - probably because they were not charging me for it. The hose they used dissolved (it may have been meant for water, Jesus wept) a few months later. Back again for another hose. That one lasted a couple of years before it started to disintegrate. I then replaced it and the bulb myself. The hose is fine but the bulb I got didn't last. A lot of bulbs seem to be poor quality

the moral of the story is - get a proper kit as if you feck around with hoses and bulbs, you may end up with more hassle with a car that is otherwise known for being very reliable and long lasting.
